What am I going to wear?
If you are invited on a cruise in summer and you don't have the time to make a list of the
things you will be wearing, read me and you won't regret it.
As the space available for your belongings is almost none, beware of the fact that you
can't make mistakes.
So, follow my suggestions and be happy:
- bathing suits, as many as you can.
- a bathing towel.
- a white cotton shirt.
- a pair of jeans.
- a navy blue turtle neck sweater in case the weather changes.
- shorts, bermudas, T-shirts as many as you can.
- no shoes are needed on board. Make sure you bring a pair of Tennis shoes if your help is
needed on the deck and on the sails. Forget about heels and bring
a couple of "mocassini" to step ashore.
- toilet items should be small as if you were flying on a plane
- keep a special outfit for a special evening. Wait for the right moment and wear it. Good
luck.
- before you close your bag, remember to take a wind breaker with you, light in summer and
heavy in winter.
I just came back from Genova were the International Exhibition on Sailing took place.
Comments on the event are coming soon.
So long,
Muni
