Autumn is right time to pick citrus fruits in the Mediterranean area; lemon is the prince among them.

"Limoncello"

Warm or cold a glass of Limoncello after dinner will always be welcome, here is the recipe of the famous Mediterranean liquor.

In 1 liter of pure alchool, add the rind of eight lemons, cut in very thin slices, wait 24 hours shaking from time to time. Then boil for few minutes 1 liter of water added with 400 grams of sugar and pour hot on the alchool. Filter when cold.

"Limoncello"

Caldo o freddo, un bicchierino di Limoncello rende il dopo pasto più piacevole, questa è la ricetta tradizionale di questo delizioso liquore mediterraneo.

In un litro di alcool puro immergete la buccia di otto limoni, tagliata a strisce sottili, rimestate di tanto in tanto. Dopo 24 ore di infusione, fate bollire 1 litro d'acqua con 400 grammi di zucchero ed aggiungete all'infuso. Quando freddo filtrare il tutto.
